About the speaker
Dr Jason R.C. Nurse is a Reader in Cyber Security at the University of Kent, the Director of Science and Research at CybSafe, and a Visiting Fellow in Defence and Security at Cranfield University. He also serves as an Associate Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and is the Chair of the Ethics Board for the UK’s National Research Centre on Privacy, Harm Reduction and Adversarial Influence Online (REPHRAIN). Dr Nurse’s interdisciplinary research spans computing, psychology, and computational social science, focusing on the human aspects of cybersecurity, including privacy, trust, and the impact of emerging technologies like AI.
