Professor Andrew Martin is the Director of Professional Programmes and a Professor of Systems Security at the University of Oxford, where he is also a Governing Body Fellow of Kellogg College. Prior to his current tenure, he worked as an industrial software engineer at Praxis in Bath and held research and teaching positions at the University of Queensland and the University of Southampton. With a career spanning industrial engineering and academic research, Professor Martin provides a comprehensive perspective on secure systems, specialising in the trusted computing and architectural design patterns essential for securing cloud and IoT environments. His expertise allows him to bridge the gap between theoretical security models and the practical challenges of building trustworthy digital infrastructures.
