How do I register for an account?

You can register for an account in two ways:

  • Visit our registration page and create an account using your email address and password.
  • Sign up using your Google account or Apple ID for quick access.

Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email to verify your account.

How do I log in?

Log in using the “log in” button on the top right-hand side of the site, using:

  • Your email address and password, or
  • Your Google account credentials or your Apple ID.

I've forgotten my password. What should I do?

Click the “Forgot password?” link on the login page. Enter your registered email address and we’ll send you instructions to reset your password. If you don’t receive the email within a few minutes, please check your spam folder.

How much does it cost?

We offer three membership tiers:

  • Free: €0.00
    • Access to select bitesize and longform content
  • Standard:
    • Monthly billing: €9/month (€108/year)
    • Annual billing: €97.20/year (€8.10/month; save 10%)
  • Premium:
    • Monthly billing: €29/month (€348/year)
    • Annual billing: €313.20/year (€26.10/month; save 10%)

All prices are in Euros and include VAT where applicable.

What's included with each tier level?

Each tier includes:

  • Free:
    • Access to select bitesize and longform content made available with support from Google.org
  • Standard:
    • Access to more bitesize and longform content
    • Certificates available for extra fee
  • Premium:
    • All bitesize and longform content
    • One certificate per quarter included (additional certificates available for extra fee)

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, and other secure payment methods depending on your region.

 

Will I be charged automatically when my subscription renews?

Yes, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date. For more details, see our terms and conditions.

 

Can I renew my subscription?

Yes, you can renew your subscription anytime from your account settings. Once cancelled, you’ll still have access to all features of your previously selected subscription tier until the end of your current billing period.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

Yes, you can change your subscription tier at any time through your account settings. If you upgrade, you’ll have immediate access to additional features and will be charged a prorated amount. If you downgrade, the change will take effect at the end of your current billing period. For more details, see our terms and conditions.

 

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to “Account Settings” or “Billing”
  3. Select “Cancel Subscription”
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation.

Once cancelled, you’ll retain access to your current membership level until the end of your billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months or years. For more details, see our terms and conditions.

Can I change my email address?

Yes, you can update your email address in your account settings. You’ll need to verify the new email address before the change takes effect.

How do I update my payment information?

Log in to your account, go to “Account Settings” or “Billing”, and select “Payment Methods” to update your card details or payment method.

Can I share my account with others?

Each account is intended for individual use only. Sharing login credentials violates our terms of service and may result in account suspension.  For more details, see our terms and conditions.

 

Can I learn on the go?

Yes! Our website is available on mobile devices through the mobile browser so you can learn anywhere, anytime.

What recognition or certification will I receive?

Upon completing a bitesize or longform course, a confirmation of completion will be available to download for free.

VIRO Learning certificates for longform courses are also available, with assessment methods depending on the course.

Standard members have to pay a fee of €149 for each certificate, and Premium members have access to one certificate per quarter, after which additional certificates incur a fee of €149.

Email us at certificates@virolearning.com for more information about certificates and to request an assessment and associated certificate for a completed course.

How long do I have access to content?

As long as your subscription is active, you have unlimited access to all content included in your tier level.

What can I learn?

With over 150+ hours of content and over 50 topics available from 30+ industry professionals, you can learn:

Is the content updated regularly?

Yes, we regularly update existing content and add new content to reflect the latest developments in cybersecurity and emerging technologies, including new threats, technologies, and best practices.

Are subtitles available?

Yes, all content includes subtitles in English. Additional language support is under development.

What devices and browsers are supported?

Our website works on all the most common browsers on desktop, mobile and tablets.
